Awakening the Body, Heart and Mind: Insight Meditation Weekend

The four foundations of mindfulness (mindfulness of the body, feelings, mind, and all dhammas, or mind objects) are used to foster an embodied awareness as a path of awakening. The union of wisdom and compassion supports the opening of the heart and a deepening experience of peace and equanimity.

Suitable for both beginners and experienced students, this course includes periods of sitting and walking meditation, devotional chanting, talks about the teachings, opportunities for questions and optional periods of mindful movement (qigong).
